Below is a list of reported traffic incidents in the Tri-State area:
Interstate 75 in Ohio: No reported accidents
Interstate 71 in Ohio: No reported accidents
Interstate 71/75 in Ky.: Slow traffic-- NB from Kyles lane to river
Construction-- A bridge maintenance project has begun on the I-71 twin bridges over Mill Creek (39.3 mile marker) in Carroll County. The project will encompass several maintenance improvements. The bridge deck will be restored and waterproofed and the bridge joints will be repaired.
The project began August 5 on the Southbound side of I-71. A lane closure will be in place for the safety of the crews during the project. The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph in the I-71 construction zone in Carroll County and the double-fine zone will be strictly enforced. Motorists should expect minor delays.
The project has 30 working days for each bridge and should be complete by November 16, 2012.

Other roadways: Funeral Procession starting at 11 a.m. for Army Sgt. First Class Bobby Lee Estle-- Here is the procession route information in the Village of South Lebanon: Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road to Main Street, right on Main Street, left on Broadway Street, left on Mary Ellen Street, right on Mason-Morrow, and then the hearse will go up and turn left at the cemetery.
The following streets will be closed: Pike Street between State Route 48 and Main Street
Main Street from Pike Street on Broadway Street
Broadway Street between Main Street and Mary Ellen Street
Mary Ellen Street between Broadway Street and Morrow Road
Morrow Road between Mary Ellen Street and Shawhan Road, where the procession leaves the corporation limits for Deerfield Cemetery in Union Township.
Madison Road closed this evening-- between Ibsen Avenue and Oaklawn Drive Tuesday (8/7) evening for three hours. The Corps will close the road in order to continue testing the floodgate located there. The Corps has notified the City of Cincinnati that this closure is necessary to check the floodgates for safety.
The Corps also may close the floodgate on Thursday (8/9) evening for additional testing.
The closure is expected to last from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
