Below is a list of reported traffic incidents in the Tri-State area:

Interstate 75 in Ohio: No reported accidents

Interstate 71 in Ohio: No reported accidents

Interstate 71/75 in Ky.: No reported accidents

Interstate 74 in Ohio/Ind.: No reported accidents

Columbia Parkway: No reported accidents

Other roadways: Red Bank Expressway and Madison Rd. Intersection Improvement-- As a part of the City of Cincinnati’s ongoing Street Improvement Program, the Department of Transportation and Engineering is currently working on a intersection improvement at Red Bank Expressway and Madison Road.

This improvement is currently under contract and construction is underway. Adleta Inc. is the contractor for this project.

Adleta Inc. will begin underground utility work on Oct. 29, 2012, in Madison Road. Traffic signal work at Red Bank and Madison Road and MedPace Way and Madison Road has begun and will continue through the winter.

This project is schedule to be completed in the spring of 2013.

Other traffic information: ODOT First in Nation to Use Green Strobe Lights on Snowplow Trucks-- New this year, ODOT will battle rear-end crashes as well as snow and ice thanks to the addition of green and white strobe lights to its existing amber lights.

The color combination has been proven more visible than amber lights alone.

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Results in Kentucky--  This year’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” enforcement effort, coordinated by the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety (KOHS), resulted in 1,636 citations for drunken driving.
