CINCINNATI - The National Weather Service has expired a Severe Thunderstorm watch for the Tri-State at 3 a.m. Saturday.
The counties that are affected include:
Ohio: Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fayette, Hamilton, Highland, Warren
Kentucky: Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Pendleton, Owen
Indiana: Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union
A separate Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued earlier in the evening, but the warning for those counties has been extended until 3 a.m. under the new watch.
The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning for counties in Northern Kentucky and Ohio early Saturday morning that has now expired.
A line of strong storms is moving across northern Indiana and headed eastward at 25 mph. Radar indicates the storms are moving with wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch diameter hail is possible in some areas.
Several Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were also issued earlier as storms began to roll through the region Friday evening.
