CINCINNATI - All of the Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and Watches for the Tri-State have canceled after a line of storms swept through the area.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington issued the warning as radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter sized hail and winds in excess of 60 mph.

The National Weather Service warned this was a dangerous storm, stating If you were near its path, to prepare for violent straight line winds as destructive as a tornado.

This storm had the potential to cause serious injury and significant damage to property, according to the NWS.

At 4:19 p.m. EDT, Dayton International Airport received a wind gust of 82 mph from this storm, according to the NWS.
