CINCINNATI - After severe weather rolled through the Tri-State again Friday evening, thousands of Duke Energy customers lost power.
At one point more than 38,000 residents were in the dark, with the majority living in Hamilton and Clermont counties. By Saturday at 10:15 a.m., there were fewer than 1,000 outages reported in both Ohio and Kentucky.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was in effect for the entire Tri-State for most of Friday, which has now been canceled by the National Weather Service. Several warnings were also issued throughout the night.
