LEXINGTON, Ky. – The deadline for Career Evolutions LLC to staff 100 jobs in within Kentucky proper is fast approaching, and there are still a few positions left to be filled.

The growing trend of the work-from-home employee is what makes these positions attractive.

With flexible scheduling ranging from 25-34 hours per week, at an hourly wage of $8-$9, employees are freed from the stresses of a commute and have more time to pursue personal activities such as taking college courses or caring for a family or home.

The Dec. 2 deadline follows the announcement of Career Evolutions contract with a national Remote Call Center Service Corporation to staff 100 Customer Service Representatives (CSR) in response to a new debit card program being introduced at a premiere financial institution.

This major expansion of business is not only a successful win for the Kentucky based partner office, but also brings much needed jobs to a State which has been in no way immune to these tough economic times.

As the jobless rate was reported to have climbed to a staggering 11.2 percent last month, the promise of companies bringing employment opportunities to Kentucky residences will hopefully continue to grow, especially in the hard-hit service industry. Career Evolutions has been working closely with businesses in order to bring in similar opportunities this wounded but resilient State.

"We are thrilled to form this partnership with our client, and look forward to a long-term and exciting relationship of providing highly qualified and professional CSRs in this growing field of ‘Remote Based Service’," said Annette Hannah, Senior Recruiting Consultant and head of the Lexington Partner office.

"This is an exciting opportunity to bring entrepreneurial jobs to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and we look forward to bringing additional positions to the rest of the United States in 2010."

The new CSR’s will be responding for in-bound customer calls from local customers, ranging from lost pin numbers, to account balance inquires. These are not sales calls, and do not require cold calling. Paid training for the new positions will begin in late December.

All applicants are required to have access to a personal computer with a secured Internet connection, a LAN line with long distance, and must have a basic understanding of computers. Mandatory background, credit, and drug testing will also be required.

Career Evolutions has already begun the application review and screening process for these positions and plans to fill them by the first of December.
