FLORENCE, Ky. – An Erlanger man has been arrested in connection to two robberies that occurred in Florence last week.
The Florence Police arrested Timothy Hill, 45, of Erlanger, Thursday. The first robbery happened on Oct. 23, in the parking lot of 7625 Doering Dr.
According to police the suspect waited until he saw a female walking alone. He came up behind the victim, grabbed her purse from her shoulder, dragging her to the ground.
Police said at that time Hill ran to his car and drove away. The victim Karla Parks, 35, of Burlington, was not injured.
On Oct. 25, the suspect came back to the same location and again waited until he saw a female walking alone. He approached the victim and took her purse out of a shopping cart.
The victim chased the suspect to his car and jumped on the hood of the car in an attempt to keep him from driving off. The victim Beverly England, 36, of Florence, was thrown from the car when Hill drove away. She reported that she was not injured.
Hill has been charged with two counts of 2nd-degree robbery.
