Last Update: 10/07/2009 10:08 am
There is new information about a census worker found dead in Kentucky last month.

Authorities have released Bill Sparkman's body back to his family nearly a month after his death.

Sparkman was found with a rope around his neck and his hands and feet duct-taped in rural eastern Kentucky.

The coroner confirmed the word "Fed" was scrawled on his chest.

The state medical examiner's office says the cause of death was asphyxiation, but police have not said it was a homicide.
