COVINGTON, Ky. -- Celebrate 14th Annual Mardi Gras, at MainStrasse Village. The Big Head and Grande Parades will begin Friday, Feb.12, and Saturday, Feb.13, at 8 p.m. at Ninth Street and Willow Run.
Music begins following the parades at 8 p.m.
Robin Lacy and DeZydeco will be playing Friday, at 8 p.m. in the Entertainment Tent. Saturday,
Fourth Day Echo will be playing at 8 p.m. in the Entertainment Tent.
The entertainment tent and Cajun food booths will open at 8 p.m. Shishka Haus will be serving Cajun red beans and rice, chili, jambalaya, sausages, and more.
On both Friday and Saturday there will be a 'Dunk a Cop' booth to raise money for the
Police Unity Tour, which honors fallen police officers and aids their families.
Tickets are $15 in advance for both nights of $10 per night if purchased individually. Advanced tickets will be on sale until, Wednesday, Feb. 10 at
www.mainstrasse.org.
