VILLA HILLS, Ky. -- One couple is turning to the classifieds to try and find the thief who stole their jewelry from their home.
Linda and Vic Demaras are offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Earlier this month, someone came into their home and stole two diamond watches.
A week later someone stole their diamond wedding bands while they were out to dinner.
"We went out to eat around 8 o'clock and we home by 10 o'clock and on Sunday we were getting ready to leave and getting everything and that's when we discovered the rings were gone," said Linda Demaras of Villa Hills.
The rings and watch have since been replaced with the help of the insurance company.
Since there was no forced entry and their teenage daughter recently had her keys stolen, the Demaras believe the crimes involve juveniles.
At the bottom of the ad, it states they are offering a $2,000 dollar reward.
"If money was the reason for it, well this is obviously a way, money talks and possibly this would get somebody talking," said Vic Demaras.
"As I said its not the property because we have already replaced that. Its the fact that we want to know who is doing this or who did it," said Linda Demaras.
They filed a police report but wanted to take their search to another level by placing an add in the classifieds.
The ad will run in the 'Lost' section for the rest of the month.
