Delays Expected On KY 18

Motorists should expect long delays as work to repair a slide on KY 18 in Boone County continues this week.

The slide occurred on KY 18 or Belleview Road near Botts Lane at the 5.2 mile marker. Work will be underway each day next week from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6.

Motorists are advised to watch for traffic control, equipment and lane closures and to expect long delays.

Elsewhere in Northern Kentucky:

A crew in Campbell County will be patching and repairing potholes all week long on Interstate 471 and on Interstate 275. Motorists should watch for equipment and lane closures.

In Kenton County crews will be removing trees and brush along a four-mile stretch of state right of way on KY 1930 or Locust Pike up to KY 177. Motorists should watch for flaggers, equipment and lane closures, according to transportation officials.

Monday

Crews will continue replacing culvert pipe on KY 1159 (Bladeston-Brooksville Road) in the area of Badger Road (2 – 3 mile marker). Watch for traffic control, equipment and lane closure.

Tuesday – Friday

Crews will continue replacing/repairing culvert pipe on KY 10 (Willow-Lenoxburg Road) from Cummingsville-Berlin Road toward KY 22 (6 – 7 mile marker). Watch for traffic control, equipment and lane closure.

Carroll County

Monday - Friday

Crews will be removing trees and brush from state right of way on KY 1112 (Whites Run/Bucks Run Road) from KY 227 to KY 47 (0 – 8 mile marker). Watch for flaggers, equipment and lane closures.

Monday – Friday

Crews will be repairing a slide on KY 1130 (Craigs Creek Road). The road will be closed to traffic from the Scenic View sub-division to the KY 35 junction (4.4 – 4.7 mile marker). Traffic will be detoured to KY 35 to Speedway Blvd. to KY 1130.

Grant County

Monday - Friday

Crews will be patching and repairing shoulders on KY 330 (Corinth Road) from Layton Chapel Road to KY 36 (7 - 8 mile marker). Watch for flaggers, equipment and lane closures.

Pendleton County

Monday - Friday

Crews will be repairing and patching sections with equipment on KY 1053 (Rankin Mill/Broadford Road) from US 27 to US 27 (0 – 9.5 mile marker). Watch for flaggers, equipment and lane closures.
