COVINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced that the City of Taylor Mill will receive $150,000 in Municipal Aid emergency funds for bridge repairs on Grand Avenue.

The bridge serves numerous residences in Taylor Mill and Kenton County. The repairs will make it safer for school buses and other vehicles.

"It is important that we help cities and counties fund emergency repairs to local roadways, because those routes are vital links in the state’s transportation network," Transportation Acting Secretary Mike Hancock said. "Solid transportation infrastructure is vital in Taylor Mill and across the commonwealth."

The City of Taylor Mill is responsible for administering the work.
