Authorities in Northern Kentucky have captured a Covington man who escaped from custody in Warsaw earlier this week.

Joshua Pickett got away from officers while on his way to a hearing at the Gallatin County Courthouse.

On Thursday, members of the Central Kentucky Fugitive Task Force received a Crime Stoppers tip and arrested Pickett in an apartment on 17th Street in Covington.

Pickett was already charged with burglary. He will now face an escape charge.
