NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Just home from Afghanistan, Army Spc. Jason Forster and Sgt. Anthony Jacobs are looking forward to the traditional July Fourth activities - hanging out with co-workers and their boss, watching some fireworks and eating barbecue.
The boss, also known as President Barack Obama, has invited 25 Fort Campbell, Ky., soldiers and their families to join him for the White House Salute to the Military on Saturday.
The first family is hosting 1,200 military families for a Fourth of July barbecue on the South Lawn.
Forster says it's not every day that soldiers get to meet the commander in chief, and he says he just wants to see what type of guy the president is.
