LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Downtown Lexington will transform next week when dancers memorialize Michael Jackson by re-enacting his famous "Thriller" music video.
The event will be part of the Thursday Night Life festival and performed by dancers from Mecca Dance Studio.
The local studio has been performing the 1983 "Thriller" video, featuring scores of zombies dancing together, as a Halloween tradition since 2002.
Last year, a cast of 200 people marched down Main Street to the song. This year, the studio is looking for volunteers to join the event, asking people to come dressed in "zombie apparel."
