Throughout the Commonwealth, thousands came out April 15, to say “We are taxed enough already.”
The Tea Party group is now joining forces and meeting at the State Capitol in Frankfort, on Independence Day for a statewide Tea Party.
The group will meet from noon until 2 p.m. on the steps of the Kentucky Capitol, 700 Capitol Ave. They will start off with music by Frankfort band GodCry, with lead singer Jeanette Franklin.

- Brian Corneilson, Esq., Iraqi veteran and attorney (Fort Knox)

- Michael Malone, Esq., Retired Attorney and Kentucky Colonel (Hardin County)
- Mike Peak, Catholics In Action (Louisville)
- John Riley, Take Back Kentucky / Gun Rights (Taylorsville)
- Dr. Bob Rodgers, Evangel World Prayer Center (Louisville)
- Jim Waters, Bluegrass Institute, (Bowling Green)
- And you: They will have an open mic, giving you an opportunity for a one-minute speech.
