Fred Aureden of Lakeside Park appeared before a federal judge on Friday.
The judge released Aureden with an electronic monitoring device followed by a list of conditions.
Those include no contact with children under eighteen and he can not leave his home unless he has a doctor's appointment.
Aureden used to co-own the Crescent Springs Learning Center with his wife until she became sole owner in 2009.
A grand jury indicted Aureden for possessing and advertising child porn earlier this month.
