FORT THOMAS, Ky. -- The Fort Thomas Military and Community Museum opened Sunday.
History buffs may enjoy a walk-through of the new museum which was dedicated on Sunday.
The museum has artifacts such as uniforms, weapons and military equipment dating back to the Civil War.
The museum also has a room dedicated to the Beverly Hills Supper Club and to Highlands High School history.
Organizers say the museum will be staffed by volunteers.
The museum will be open noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
