Motorists should expect traffic delays, particularly during rush hour, next week due to construction work on North Bend Road (KY 237) from Interstate-275 to Kara Lane in Boone County, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Traffic may be stopped periodically in the area to allow equipment to pass, the cabinet warns. Motorists are advised that the speed limit has been reduced to 35 mph and that left turns are prohibited from KY 237 southbound at Northside Drive.
Motorists are urged to watch for flaggers and be aware of trucks entering and exiting the highway.

BOONE COUNTYIndustrial Road (KY 1829) – Construction operations have ceased for the winter from US 42 to Dixie Highway (US 25) and on Dixie Highway (US 25) from New Buffington Road to the railroad crossing south of the Industrial Road/US 25 intersection. The speed limit is reduced to 35 MPH on this project. Please be aware of a traffic diversion in place at the railroad crossing on US 25.

CAMPBELL COUNTYMaintenance crews will be working on the southbound I-471 on-ramp at Grand Ave. on Monday. The ramp will be closed from 9 am until 11:30 am while crews patch and repair potholes. Motorists should watch for crews, equipment and lane closures. The repair project is weather dependent.
From Tuesday through Friday crews will be removing storm debris from state rights-of-way on various state routes throughout Campbell County. Watch for flaggers, lane closures and equipment.
KENTON COUNTYKY 371 Buttermilk Pike – The right southbound lane of KY 371 will be closed between Anderson Road and High Street. The right southbound lane of KY 371 north of Anderson Road will be marked as “right turn only”. Expect delays. If possible, motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
Maintenance crews continue removing trees and brush from state right-of-way on KY 177 (Decoursey Pike) from the Pendleton County line to Winston and Salem Ave in Latonia. Watch for flaggers, lane closures and equipment.
CARROLL COUNTYCarrollton-Gratz Road (KY 389) near Mill Creek West Fork Bridge approx 0.5 mile south of I-71 interchange. Contractor will be drilling piles to stabilize the slide area. Minor delays may occur
GRANT COUNTY I-75 (MP 144 – MP 146) – Northbound and Southbound traffic has been restored to the original pattern of two lanes in each direction. The speed limit is reduced to 55 MPH on this project. During daytime working hours, rolling roadblocks may be used for short periods to slow traffic for blasting operations. As Construction continues on this project, please watch for trucks entering and leaving the highway.

During daytime working hours, rolling roadblocks may be used for short periods to slow traffic for blasting operations. OWEN COUNTYKY 22 - Gratz Bridge (approximately at the 6 mile marker) – The Gratz Bridge replacement project has begun. Clearing and grubbing is the only operation taking place this week. Blasting may begin next week with hauling blasted material beginning soon after. Traffic is allowed during daylight hours but is not allowed from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. There will be some one way traffic during these operations.
PENDLETON COUNTYCarter’s Chapel Road (CR 1318) Closure at Rogers Road – The Carter’s Chapel Bridge Replacement over Seller’s Branch has begun. The roadway will be closed to through traffic to start bridge replacement. Detour routes are posted at Gardnersville-Portland Road (KY 491) to the south and on Gardnersville Road to the north. Traffic will be detoured onto Rogers Road. The road will be closed a maximum of 180 days.
