Police in Kenton County, Ky are searching for a driver accused of crashing a van, then leaving the scene as it caught on fire.

An anonymous tip alerted officials to the crash on Decoursey Pike and Visalia Road in Visalia around 1:30 Tuesday morning.

Police arrived on the scene to find the van on fire, but the driver was nowhere to be seen. Investigators believe the van slid off the road and crashed between a tree and a pole before bursting into flames.

It is unclear if the driver was alone or if anyone was injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
