Roadwork On Bridge Tops Next Week's Agenda

COVINGTON, Ky. - Maintenance work on the Carroll Cropper Bridge/Interstate-275 bridge will continue next week with westbound bridge traffic being narrowed to one lane.

Work will be underway from 8 am until 4 pm. on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 23-24, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s District 6. Crews will be patching and repairing potholes and cleaning drains on the bridge in Boone County that links Kentucky and Indiana.

Motorists are urged to watch for equipment and be alert to lane closures.

Here’s a look at other work planned for next week in Northern Kentucky:

Boone County

Wednesday, Nov. 25

Crews will be patching and repairing potholes on various state routes throughout Boone County. Watch for flaggers, equipment and lane closures.

Campbell County

Monday, Nov. 23 through Wednesday, Nov. 25

Crews will be patching and repairing potholes on I-471 (0-5 mile marker). Watch for crews, equipment and lane closures.

Kenton County

Monday, Nov. 23 through Wednesday, Nov. 25

Crews will continue ditching with equipment on KY 177 (Decoursey Pike) from Marshall Road toward White’s Road (15 - 17 mile marker). Watch for flaggers, equipment and lane closures.
