School Superintendents in Northern Kentucky are looking at how to make up the lost days of school, due to the power outage.

Kenton and Boone School Districts both returned to classes Wednesday, after losing two school days.

Campbell County School District; however, did not return Wednesday since Grant's Lick Elementary School did not have power.

Superintendent Anthony Strong says the district plans for snow days but hurricane winds are not built in to the schedule.

Since Gov. Steve Beshear declared a state of emergency for the Commonwealth, Strong says they will wait and see what happens.

"We don't know if we will qualify for any kind of calamity days through the state, if we have to make these days up or not. So it was our take with the number of people out it was better to keep everyone on the same calendar for the time being," said Strong.
