The unemployment rates are hitting us fast and hard. Here in the mountains of Pike County, KY; things are begining to get really hard. Coal has been a major resouce in this area for a long time. It has kept our families feed and lights on in the US. Now our men & women are loosing jobs left and right. People that are enviromental crazy are killing the strip mines. Okay save the trees and let people starve and die. A little information about strip mining; once everything is striped from the land it is replaced and made even better than before. Trees are replaced and grass is replanted and it is even more beautiful than before. I wish people could walk a few miles in the shoes of our Mountain Miners. People will see when the lights go out. Where do you think electricity comes from.
