The Cincinnati Zoo has pulled out of a ticket promotion that linked it with the Creation Museum.
The zoo informed the museum it would no longer participate in the promotion on Monday.
For $25.95, it offered tickets to the Zoo's Festival of Lights as well as the museum.
The Creation Museum says all it was told was that there had been a number of complaints about the association between the two.
The zoo had faced criticism largely through online blogs about its affiliation with a religious-based institution that dismissed the theory of evolution.
The promotion had been displayed on the zoo's website as recently as Sunday but was not displayed there Monday.
The Cincinnati Zoo had no immediate comment.
